Marco Mendoza + Powell Payne

Comments Off on Marco Mendoza + Powell Payne
Marco’s career has spanned decades, playing with rock giants such as Whitesnake, The Dead Daisies, Ted Nugent, Journey and Thin Lizzy, and he’s been creating music as a solo artist since 2007. With bandmates Drew Lowe on guitar and Chris Allan on drums, the Marco Mendoza Trio received fantastic reviews for their live shows in 2024 and are keeping their promise to return for more this year.
Described as ‘a musician everyone has to see before they die’, his shows are personal, engaging and huge amounts of fun. The audience is promised a warm, interactive experience of being entertained by a true showman with a rich career history to draw on

Weelsby Hall Heritage Open Days

Comments Off on Weelsby Hall Heritage Open Days

Join us for an afternoon of celebration at the magnificent Victorian Weelsby Hall in Grimsby. This Grade II listed hall is part of the town’s rich fishing heritage and was built in the late 1890s for George Sleight, the first Baronet of Weelsby who once owned the largest fleet of fishing trawlers in the world.

As part of this year’s theme on Architecture we will be showcasing our interpretation plans for the repairs and restoration of Weelsby Hall.
Included in this free event:

• Art workshops and model making with local artist Nicky Dillerstone
• NEL Music Hub activities for adults and children
• Nature trail for children
